Caffeine Lounge to become major gaming venue in UK

Exciting new concept for esports fans 50 gaming stations
Lounge bar

Opening 30th November in Sudbury, Suffolk, Caffeine Lounge will be the largest esports bar in the UK, offering 50 gaming stations featuring high end PCs and leather racing chairs. The venue covers 200 sq m floor space with an ultra modern design featuring a bar and lounge area.

Founder William Ward said, “Caffeine Lounge takes gaming and socialising to a new level. We’ve created a community environment for avid gamers to enjoy their esports as players or spectators, as well as offering a great bar and lounge for people to just come and hang out.”

The venue will host events for in-house teams and local teams to compete nationally and internationally. A large 95” Samsung screen will feature in the main viewing area, supplemented by 12 43” screens around the gaming and bar zones, so major international events can be streamed live.

In addition, Caffeine Lounge will work with local universities and schools to hold educational workshops to showcase gaming related technology courses.

Ward added that they are currently in discussions with potential brand partners who are keen to get involved with Caffeine Lounge as a new venture in the ever expanding esports industry, now valued at over £50 million a year in the UK alone.

Having piloted a livestream gaming news programme last year called The Caffeine Gaming Show at an esports bar in London Ward plans to broadcast a monthly show live from Caffeine Lounge starting in the new year. Ward has plans to expand the Caffeine brand and already has branded merchandise available to purchase online.
